Consulting - training, supervision, grief support, and more

Photo shows green ferns in the foreground, with the trunks of 2 trees behind. The roots of the trees are visible aboveground, and are intertwined. One tree's roots are growing out of a very old downed tree. Other trees and plants in the background.

I’m here to support the people in your organization, and the community created there

You and your organization are committed to working for liberation, justice, and thriving for all. You’re doing vital, life-sustaining, meaningful work, and you want your organizational culture to embody and enact these values and practices. You are committed to centering the needs, learning, opportunities for growth, and relationships of everyone that makes up your organizational community.

Living and working within a dominant culture of whiteness, settler-colonialist capitalism, ableism, and cisheteropatriarchy -
it’s not easy to create communities of care, trust, and accountability.

Services I offer (all are created and offered in collaboration with your team):

  • Field placement supervision for BSW and MSW students, including Employed Social Workers

  • Development and facilitation of staff and volunteer trainings, especially around program policies and practices; loss and grief; LGBTQ2S+ issues; self-harm; and more

  • Writing content, especially newsletter/e-news and blog posts

  • Staff and volunteer support, including grief support, retreat development, and guided Forest Bathing for wellness

I have worked in community-based social justice and social services organizations for many years. My work starts always from a place of listening and learning. I am passionate about lovingly challenging and changing the ways that systems of domination show up in the work we do together, and I approach this work with humility and curiousity.

I believe we learn best and grow sustainably when we build cultures of trust and accountability.

When we create cultures in which feedback and conflict are experienced as gifts, rather than threats, beautiful, powerful things can happen.

I’d love to accompany and support you on this vital, challenging, and life-giving path.
